Terry McCarthy has been helping businesses and nonprofits tell their stories better for more than a dozen years, boosting revenues and elevating brands. Applying skills he learned in Hollywood and in the world of journalism, he develops compelling narratives for organizations around which they can build strategic plans, funding, programming, and communications. Terry has orchestrated the turnaround of an international affairs membership organization and rebranded a trade organization in the film industry. He has coached executives and authors on how to develop their public personae and has advised a unicorn AI start-up on the creation of its public-facing image.
Earlier in Terry’s career he traveled the world as a foreign correspondent for TIME Magazine, ABC News and CBS News, and he established two bureaus in war zones. He speaks six languages, has won four Emmy awards and an Edward R. Murrow award.
